　This program is for those who wish to apply to study a specific field of specialization in the Graduate School of Human-Environment Studies as non-degree students.

Prior Contact with Your Desired Supervisor before Application

　Those who wish to enroll in the Graduate School of Human-Environment Studies are required to contact your desired supervisor in advance, depending on the category of acceptance or the Department/Course that you wish to enroll, as described below.

 

  1. Applicants who are required to contact their desired supervisor before applying

 

i. Regular Students (Master’s, Doctoral, and Professional Degree Programs)
　Students who plan to apply for the following Departments or Courses are required to consult with your desired supervisor before applying.
　・Department of Urban Design, Planning and Disaster Management
　・Community Studies Course in Department of Clinical Psychology and Community Studies
　・Supervisory Training and Research Course in Clinical Psychology in Department of Clinical Psychology and Community Studies
　・Health and Sport Sciences Course in Department of Behavioral and Health Sciences
　・Department of Education (recommended to contact your desired supervisor before application)
　・Department of Architecture

ii. Non-regular students (Research Students)
　Please apply after consulting with your desired supervisor.

  1. How to find a supervisor

　Enter keywords into our “Academic Staff Educational and Research Activities Database” to check the field of specialty, etc., and select the faculty member whom you wish to supervise.

*The URL above has already been filtered by faculty members of the Graduate School of Human-Environment Studies.
*If you wish to conduct a broad search that includes faculty members from other Departments of the University, please use the “Advanced Search” and remove the “Affiliation1” filter.

 

  1. How to contact your desired supervisor

　The method of contacting your desired supervisor differs depending on whether you graduated from a Japanese or non-Japanese university.

 

3-1. If you have graduated or will graduate from a university in Japan

　Please contact the faculty member you wish to supervise using the e-mail address listed in the “Academic Staff Educational and Research Activities Database.”

 

3-2. If you have graduated or will graduate from a university outside of Japan

　The method of contacting differs depending on the faculty member.
　Please use the method specified by your desired supervisor. (Regarding the method of contacting, please check here.)

　Please submit a Pre-Admission Support Application to the PSD.The PSD will assist you in contacting your desired supervisor.
